the drawing of me!
took me quite some time to get the proportions right (because I suck at that). Although it looks like the most realistic self portrait i've ever done. yay accomplishments!

DRAWING CLASS TODAY!
So I hear we should be hopefully *crosses fingers* be getting models today to draw in class. I've never actually drawn any models before so this should be pretty interesting. Probably a nice mix of excitement and awkwardness to follow.

something out of the darkness
This was a drawing done with charcoal that was done in class, where I started off with the canvas being covered in charcoal and the image was reveled by erasing the charcoal away and maybe adding a few bolder lines. I really like drawing in charcoal like this, it allows me to have much better shading on my objects which makes them look so much more lifelike.
henna art
So while this may not be drawing with a pen and pencil, it still counts as drawing...except on myself. Its actually a little harder sometimes like when i need to draw on my right hand but then I have to use my left hand to draw. But i've become a little ambidextrous I guess you could say. With the henna paste, you draw the design on yourself and then the paste hardens and stains the skin. when it hardens you can leave it on for as long as you like, the longer you leave it on the darker the stain you get. And then you peel it off and after a day or so the stain gets even darker. This design took me about an hour but it looked really cool afterwards.
